Paris’s 8th arrondissement is home to the largest concentration of five-star hotels and the highest number of above-average performers.
Yet one of the most interesting findings from our analysis lies on the Left Bank. All eight five-star hotels included in our study and located in the 6th arrondissement performed above the Paris market average.
These include Mandarin Oriental Lutetia Paris, Villa-des-Prés, La Villa Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Esprit Saint-Germain, Bel Ami, Le Relais Christine, Hôtel d’Aubusson and L’Hôtel. The finding is even more interesting because the hotels represent a diverse mix of global brands, boutique properties, independent hotels and collection-affiliated luxury hotels.
